Description

After a grueling high-altitude hike on the John Muir trail in Yosemite, I wearily set down my pack to set up camp.  After a refreshing swim in Cathedral Lake, I searched for perfect position to capture the golden hour. The challenge was to get the right light with no wind to get the perfect reflection of Cathedral Peak in a calm lake. I waited for the wind to die down. My patience paid off and I was rewarded with a clear gold glow in the sky with the majestic mountain perfectly reflected in the calm glassy lake.
